CLE loan policies

Erin Farris-Olsen, the Equal Justice Coordinator for the State Bar, will be presenting a free CLE, sponsored by the State Law Library, at noon on Monday, May 4th, on the professional ethical responsibility of attorney supervision of non-lawyers. The program includes an overview of professional expectations of lawyer supervisors, legal information v. legal advice, and a community services primer. The program will qualify for 1 ethics credit. This program would be valuable for attorneys and paralegal professionals alike and will be held in the Montana Supreme Court courtroom.

The State Law Library has available to its users a circulating audio and video CLE collection. We also offer a number of online CLEs. For questions regarding our CLE collection please email lawlibcirc@mt.gov or call (406)444-3660.

CLE materials circulate for 14 days. 

One hour of C.L.E. credit for each hour of listening/viewing. A maximum of 5 credits may be earned each year to apply to the State Bar of Montana's Mandatory Continuing Education program.
